Leica Geosystems recently announced two new laser distance metres for measure up and construction, DISTO X4 and X3.
The DISTO X4 is specifically designed to make high-precision outdoor measurements an easy task. The DISTO X4 is equipped with a Pointfinder camera, allowing users to easily target distant objects in bright sunlight. Even if the laser cannot be seen by the naked eye, the target appears clearly on the large colour display with the high-resolution screen ensuring a crystal-clear image.
The DISTO X3 is designed to make indoor laser measurements up to 150m an easy task. With a suite of sophisticated features the DISTO X3 is a high-precision all purpose measuring tool.
The new DISTOS come with a new adapter, the Leica DST 360 for Point-to-Point (P2P) measurements. The Leica DST 360 adapter is an addition to the DISTO X3 and X4, transforming the handheld laser distance metre into a complete measuring station capable of precisely determining the distances between any two points.
In combination with the free Leica DISTO™ Plan app, it allows the user to create scaled plans that can be further processed in CAD tools.
Both the DISTO X3 and X4 have strong rugged design and are ideal for construction job sites. With an IP65 rating they are water and dust proof, you can even clean these DISTOs under running water.
