Leica iCON excavate iXE3 provides integrated tilt rotator support through iXE CoPilot. With tilt rotator and iXE Copilot, the excavator operator only needs to concentrate on controlling the digging movement (boom, arm, bucket and slew of the machine) while the tilt function of the tilt rotator is adjusted automatically based on the reference model surface under the bucket. The operator maintains control of the bucket rotation as they dig, allowing them to manage material in the bucket but eliminating the need to constantly adjust the tilt of the bucket. This decreases operator fatigue, increases the accuracy of the iXE2/iXE3 excavator solutions and saves time and cost.

Bulk Earthworks and Civil Construction
Load any 3D design file into the iXE3 system and get real time cut and fill values displayed on the screen of your excavator allowing the operator to cut precisely.
Use the iXE3 system to provide depth guidance for any trenching application. Work directly from the original 3D terrain models, or 3D line work to cut your trench to grade first time. All this without the need for grade checkers to enter the trench.
Use the iXE3 system to excavate underwater – designed specifically for dredging, clearing and operating in water. The iXE3 system colour maps as you excavate so you can track where has been excavated and what work still needs to be done.
When filling material in pipe trenches or formations, simplify the process by entering the desired material depth and slope required. The system stores multiple depths and slopes for several layers.
Safety First – When digging in surroundings where there are objects above the excavator that are potentially dangerous (e.g. power cables), a Height Alarm can be set which warns the operator of boom, stick, and bucket heights in relation to the hazard.
