Designed to increase productivity and efficiency, Leica iCON Site Excavator is based on the well-established iCON Site software, now extended to include machine control functionality.
Leica iCON Site Excavator is a simple, easy-to-use machine-control solution for optimising earthmoving jobs of excavators. This new solution integrates easily to the existing iCON site applications, so you can benefit from new functionality that combines measuring, stakeout, excavating, and reporting in one easy package.
Leica iCON Site Excavator 3D solution is suitable for any make and model of excavator and supports the Leica swing boom sensor and your choice of tiltrotator.

The Leica iCON portfolio is known for its versatility. Leica iCON Site Excavator furthers this value proposition by providing the unique capability to first measure an area, create a design, and then directly dig according to that design, by simply using the same field controller in the excavator cab. This solution introduces a new workflow that offers more flexibility, efficiency and independence from surveyors and their schedules.

The software offers construction-tailored workflows, which make the solutions easier for everyone to deploy within a few hours. iCON Site Excavator application follows the portfolio-wide philosophy of ‘dirt simple solutions’, with its map driven selection and navigation, traffic-light indication of work results and split-screen functionality that allows different viewing perspectives.
Connected
Excavators working on big projects with other excavators with machine-control solutions, can now join the ‘digital’ workspace. Leica iCON Site software – the backbone of this solution – enables excavators to use the same digital designs as the big machines in the project ecosystem. Now the same digital plans can be shared among all machines working on the same project. And in case of design updates, Leica ConX will communicate the same updates to the entire ‘connected’ fleet.
