The Leica DD130 Cable Locator is a rugged, easy-to-use tool for locating and tracing buried utilities. Ideal for construction, utilities and surveying, it offers greater depth detection, more tracing frequencies and added safety features compared to the DD120.

The DD130 has four detection modes: Power, Radio, Auto and Transmitter—to suit different site conditions. Auto mode scans all frequencies for quick sweeps. It supports 33 kHz and 8 kHz transmitter frequencies, plus 512 Hz and 640 Hz for extended tracing, enabling precise location of various underground services.

A key upgrade is signal current measurement, which identifies the strongest signal path to distinguish multiple utilities especially useful in congested areas. Depth detection reaches 3 m in standard mode and up to 10m with a compatible transmitter.

Hazard Zone Alert warns of shallow services to prevent strikes. The Good-to-Go™ health check and startup test confirm the device is ready before use.

Built for tough environments, the DD130 has an IP54-rated housing for dust and water protection. Its ergonomic, lightweight design ensures comfort, and the intuitive interface requires minimal training. Leica backs it with a 1-year warranty.
