MicroSurvey STAR*NET 8 is an easy-to-use Windows application that adjusts 2D/3D survey networks using rigorous Least Squares techniques.
STAR*NET handles networks containing conventional observations combined with GNSS vectors, with up to 10,000 adjustable stations. Differential leveling observations can also be included within a 3D adjustment. Whether a survey consists of a single-loop traverse or a complex network of interconnecting traverses, all observations are adjusted simultaneously to produce a single best-fit solution. STAR*NET can reduce observations to the NZ datum 2000 circuits.
“Microsurvey Starnet is my adjustment package of choice, very simple and reads Leica data very well. Bowditch is old school, everybody should be using least squares by now with the software available to do it, Starnet is brilliant, coupled with the MS50 and precise calibrated targets we can achieve sub 0.5mm results no problem.”
Warren Gunn, Director and Registered Surveyor, SBQ

There is no other Least Squares tool available that is as comprehensive as STAR*NET. With a graphical display of your entire survey network, you will find it easy to tighten things up. With computed error ellipses, angular closure errors, easy-to-understand adjustment statistics, a pre-analysis routine and a blunder detect function you will be able to identify and stamp out every single weakness in your survey network. Then, the final results can be sent off to other programs
A large number of converters are available to process measurements and GNSS from manufacturers raw files including the Leica DBX.
